Enhance Global Impact (EGI) is a New Zealand-based company that partners with faith-based organizations around the world to help them grow stronger from the inside out by improving organizational health, empowering people, and elevating program effectiveness. Founder Adam Hutchinson wanted a brand that clearly reflected EGI’s mission to create lasting social and community impact through a faith-driven lens.
The challenge was to visually and strategically communicate the core pillars of EGI’s work, while paying homage to its cultural heritage and faith-based mission. It was important that the brand not only felt grounded and professional but also conveyed the transformative impact of EGI’s work.
The branding solution includes an earthy color palette to reflect stability and trust, and an abstract logo mark inspired by the growth process of a tree, a key metaphor for the EGI brand. The roots symbolize the foundational work of building healthy organizations, while the trunk and branches represent the strength and growth of empowered people and elevated programs. The logo mark itself has cultural significance, incorporating a tribal feel to honor the company’s New Zealand roots.
The outcome of EGI’s new brand is a cohesive and meaningful identity aligned with its values. The brand’s flexible visual elements can represent each of the organization’s three pillars, equipping EGI with a strong identity as it grows its global impact.
